Culture of safe use of ionizing radiation and improvement of QA/QC system in nuclear medicine departments in Poland.
The meeting was held to officially conclude the POL9025 project implemented under the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Technical Cooperation Programme 2020-2021.The symposium summarized all the activities undertaken during the project, aimed at promoting the culture of safety and improving quality control capabilities of nuclear medicine departments.
The meeting agenda included speeches delivered by experts on:
• Patient-specific dosimetry in nuclear medicine;
• Quality control and radiation protection in nuclear medicine.
