National Centre for Radiation Protection in Health Care (NCRPHC) has prepared the Polish language version of two important documents on clinical audits, which are the official position of the HERCA association (Heads of the European Radiological Protection Competent Authorities), the Working Group on Medical Applications.

NuCline – Esperanto for Nuclear Medicine is a comprehensive guide to clinical audits in nuclear medicine, designed to supporting best practice, regulatory compliance and quality improvement by adaptation with European guidelines. The European regulatory framework for clinical audits in nuclear medicine is regulated by the BSSD, ensuring high standards of radiation protection and patient safety, with a key role in promoting audits as a tool for continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance across Europe.

The publication also serves as a guideline for conducting clinical audits, featuring multiple audit templates developed by experts from the CLAUD-IT consortium that address key topics such as clinical practices, equipment quality control in nuclear medicine, radiopharmacy, and regulatory audits.
