Training
The National Centre for Radiation Protection in Health Care delivers the following training:
- In the field of patient radiation protection (for the following specialisations: radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, interventional radiology physicians, physicians performing other radiology procedures applying x-radiation, dentists performing radiology procedures and personnel using apparatus for bone densitometry, medical physicists, nurses involved in nuclear medicine procedures, and physicians performing radiotherapy procedures);
- For candidates to become authorised Radiation Protection Inspectors in labs using x-ray apparatus for medical purposes (R and S type)
- Refresher courses for employees of the State Sanitary Inspection organisational units responsible for radiation hygiene.
