Standard protocols
In accordance with Article 33t (1) of the Act of 29 November 2000 – Atomic Law (consolidated text, Dz. U. of 2021, item 1941), committees for procedures and external clinical audits are responsible for elaborating diagnostic radiology protocols for standard medical exposures.

In this case a justification is not required.
In the light of Article 30 (1) and (2) of the Act of 13 June 2019 amending the Act – Atomic Law and the Act on fire protection (Dz. U. of 2019, item 1593), on the day when the above amendments enter into force:
- diagnostic radiology protocols for justified medical exposures that are considered standard, elaborated by the committees for procedures and external clinical audits on the basis of existing regulations become diagnostic radiology procedures referred to in Article 33t (1) of the amended Act – Atomic Law (Article30 (1),
